KC Strip: Barhopping in Kansas City made easy
Drew Denny

Finally, a truly great idea for Kansas City residents and tourists. Let's face it, we don't visit some of the greatest nightlife spots in Kansas City, because we are either worried about our car getting broken into or making it through several levels of sobriety checkpoints. Do we really need to make it through three sobriety checkpoints in order to get out of Westport area after a dinner date?
Ahhhhh ::angels singing:: - Solution - The Kansas City Strip Trolley
Oh yeah, baby. Every Friday and Saturday night from 7pm-3am, this series of trolleys run a continues route through: Power & Light (McFadden's), 18th and Vine (Blue Room), Martini Corner (The Drop), Westport (Dark Horse Tavern), The Plaza (Brio), Brookside (Brooksiders), Waldo (Bobby Baker's) and Ameristar Casino.

You may purchase wristbands from an ambassador at any of the stops and the monthly pass may be purchased online: $10 daily pass, $20 weekend pass or $30 monthly subscription. The price is totally worth it, because this same wristband will get you a free cover charge or food and drink discounts at many of the bars and restaurants along the way. Plus, you can hop on and off all that you want.
Besides literally being a party on wheels, the best feature is in The Confessional. Reality shows like Big Brother and The Real World have certainly made the confessional room a coveted novelty. KC Strip hosts a confessional in the rear of the trolley, later to be posted on their YouTube page (see video below). You can show your wild side, funny side, emotional side, and much more; all courtesy of the mass quantities of alcohol you consume throughout the night.
